I have lived in the town most of my life, I moved here aged 5.
Educated at Ferryden primary school, then the academy followed by Angus Technical college and then Dundee College of Commerce where I studied for an HND in computer data processing.

I have experience in local authorities having worked as a contractor for North Lanarkshire council writing software for their HR department.

I spent 10 years inspecting structures and pipelines for SubSea Offshore and have a good understanding of the oil industry as I made sure our seas were free of pollution. and structures safe to work on.

My final job before an head on car accident on the A937 on the way back from work ended my IT career was with the University of Aberdeen school of medical science.

So not only do I have experience of the insurance industry, I also understand the in and out’s of the DWP and their nasty tricks.
